Distinguishes it from nobiliary or hereditary ranks, granting high ceremonial precedence, style, and insignia while conferring no peerage or transmissible rights. Entrusts administration and regulation to the Sovereign Chancellery under the authority of the Crown.

Sovereign Decree on the Establishment and Regulation of the Civil and Military Dignity of Vožvode

Defines and regulates the design, heraldic description, and lawful use of the National Coat of Arms of the Principality and the Armorial Bearings of the Royal Family. Establishes rules of display on state documents, buildings, and insignia; prescribes heraldic distinctions for senior members of the Royal House; and prohibits unauthorised use or alteration. Directs that the official blazon be recorded in the Register of Arms under the custody of the Chief Herald, and that all arms of the Royal Family be confirmed and published under the Sovereign’s warrant.
